It should be of no surprise to anyone on this forum that LoC has undergone a number of huge changes in the last two years, including but not limited to the retirement of a bajillion of our Officers and of our Guild Leaders and the ceasing of our raids. As I find myself once again in charge of the guild I co-started, I can't help but feel a little sad when I think back on where we've been and then look at our current state of affairs.

With that said, LoC is still peddling forward. Although many of our old raiders have moved on, either on to new games or on with their lives in general, we still have a small core of people that play regularly and enjoy the game together. I personally have had a lot of fun running the new Troll heroics with other guildies. LoC is still alive, even if its current state looks vastly different from how it used to. We're still a family-friendly guild, we're still a guild that loves to do PVE content, and, perhaps most importantly, we're still a guild of friends.

Now, I'm hoping that LoC is about to enter a new phase of life. Because our old leadership left, I've promoted Dubb, Testarossa, and Perl to officer status. I've reworked the guild ranks, in order to recognize those who have been with us through the long haul, but also to make it easier for new players to join us. And, as of today, I've posted Light of Chaos on the guild recruitment page. Hopefully, our guild's friendly nature, established reputation, and guild rank will all attract at least a few great players.

At the moment, we're a dungeon guild. Who knows, maybe someday soon, we'll start raiding again. We've already given it a try once recently, and although it didn't end so well...the interest and the desire were there.

For now, I'll just have to be content to have a drink by myself. Here's to hoping that the table will soon be full once again!
